Show Oulook 2007 Shortcut on Desktop via OCT

I have had issues modifying an already installed Office 2007 install post to add shortcut to all users desktop. When I modified my original OCT file I found the Outlook icon was blank and had no way to fix. I came up with this .vbs script to fix the issue, hope it helps someone else with similar issues:

On Error Resume Next

Set objShell = CreateObject(“Wscript.Shell”)

strPath = Wscript.ScriptFullName

Set objFSO = CreateObject(“Scripting.FileSystemObject”)

Set objFile = objFSO.GetFile(strPath)
strFolder = objFSO.GetParentFolderName(objFile)

objShell.Run “msiexec /p ” & chr(34) & strFolder & “\Office2010STDFull.msp” & chr(34) & ” /qb! /L*v c:\windows\temp\Office2007Add-onOS.log”,0,True ‘Modified OCT File

objShell.Run “msiexec /fs {90140000-0012-0000-1000-0000000FF1CE} /qb! /L*v c:\windows\temp\Office2007Add-onOSFix.log”,0,True ‘Will force a repair of all shortcuts
